Gold is often synonymous with exquisiteness and success however, Nike places it on some of their classic styles for their collection of Olympic sneakers. Here’s another style to be hit with a simple white and gold color-way. This Terminator High is very simple, but Nike is written in metallic gold, a nice touch to accent the gold swoosh. With the 2008 Summer Olympics nearing, Nike extends their collection of Olympic inspired sheos with this collection of grade school sneakers. Made up of 5 different styles to represent four of China’s most popular animals, the fish, the panda, the Tibetan antelope, the swallow and the Olympic Flame. Included, are the Vandal, Low, Dunk Low, Blazer Low, and Cortez 07. All are available now at Kix-Files for pre-order in Grade School sizes.
Puma has looked different types of animals to inspire some of their classics. The Deer Pack is the first introduction of the wildlife mural pack and consists of the Basket II and First Round. The Basket II’s feature wood grain panes, high gloss deer mural screen-print, fur lining and hunter orange laces. The First Round also sports a similar design, but in a high top style. Those of you who are baseball fans may already know that this year’s MLB All-Star Game will be held at Yankee Stadium for the first time in 30 years. You may also know that it will be the Yankee’s last year at Yankee Stadium before moving to a new stadium across the street. To commemorate the All-Star Game and Yankee Stadium, Nike has made a Quickstrike Air Force 1 High, inspired by the Yankee team. The shoe contains the Yankee’s signature pinstripes on the heel in this navy blue on white colorway and a “NYC ‘08″ lace lock is also featured. These sneakers are available now at select Nike retailers including Sneaker Bistro.

When we first showed the Air Jordan Force Fusion 20 (XX) Low, they did not receive a great rating which is more than understandable. But with time ticking new color-ways are popping up online, so we now introduce to you the Air Jordan Force Fusion 20 (XX) Low Black / Light Graphite - White.
This pair of Jordan 20 (XX) Force Fusions probably represents both sides the best, containing laser print on the side panels, sections of the midsole perforated, and the heel tab which looks to be pulled exactly off the Air Jordan 20 (XX). Releasing November 2008, and will release at select Jordan Brand accounts including Vagant.

Head over to Overkill now to see these New Balance sneakers that have just been released. Featured are the New Balance M1300 and the New Balance M576. In the pictures, you will see three different shoes that are all available at Overkill.
Two M576s are featured – one featuring purple and the other featuring brown. Besides those main colors, there are various patterns and lines used to liven up the shoes. The M1300 version shown above features a turquoise and bright yellow color scheme. To add even more color, the shoe has flashy blue laces. I’m not a big fan of the 576, but the 1300 is pretty lively. Now available at Overkill are two new joints from Reebok. The Sir Jam Mid and ERS 200 are the newest pairs to be released by Reebok as they slowly start to push their way back to the top of the sneaker industry. Both shoes contain a white/grey/neon yellow colorway. The neon yellow sticks out like a sore thumb however, and will definitely be a neck breaker.
Whats going on Chicago? As You may have heard in some recent posts about the sneaker showcase being held at navy pier July 5th, There will also be a launch party as well as a Nike talk summit being held tomorrow July 3rd from 6-10 at the Self-Conscious store in Chicago. The event will be part of a launch party to kick off the event on saturday.
